You restored 2 very old photos for me which I took as a surprise to my 98 year old mother and I wish you could have been with us when she saw them. One shows her as a 5 year old girl, facing a camera for the first time in her life. You helped her recall what that felt like as she tried hard to do what she’d been told: ‘stand up straight and hold your head up.’ The other, which we thought damaged beyond repair, is the only photo she has of her two sisters and nephews- all now dead. She felt almost as though you’d brought them back to life for a moment. Memories flooded back. We’re both grateful to you for that.
